Baseball Recap: Mauldin Takes a Loss

Mauldin suffered their closest loss since March 10th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the J.L. Mann Patriots by a score of 6-4. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Mauldin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Sanchelli, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for J.L. Mann, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat Mauldin by a score of 6-5 on Friday.
