Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Bear Creek on Monday as Northwest made off with a 5-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Northwest needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Granite Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Northwest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Granite Falls might still be hurting after the 13-0 defeat they got from Northwest in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Granite Falls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
