Volleyball Recap: Whitney Comes Up Short

After flying high against Artesia on Friday, Whitney came back down to earth. The Whitney Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peninsula Panthers on Saturday.

Whitney now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Peninsula, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Whitney has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Whittier Christian on the 15th. As for Peninsula, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Warren on the 15th.
