Soccer Recap: Aurora East Finishes Even with Andrew

Aurora East saw some tournament action on Thursday. They and the Andrew Thunderbolts finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Aurora East not been charged with a red card from Jeremie Bititi.

Aurora East's goal came courtesy of Carlos Fabela, which was the first he's scored this season.

Aurora East's draw makes their record 3-2-5 this season. As for Andrew, they moved theirs to 3-4-2.

Looking ahead, Aurora East will be taking part in a tournament against Lockport at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Lockport's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Andrew, they will host Waubonsie Valley at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.
