Soccer Game Preview: Menlo School vs. Redondo Union

The Menlo School Knights will head out to take on the Redondo Union Sea Hawks at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Menlo School is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Archbishop Riordan last Saturday, sneaking past 3-2. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while the Crusaders are ranked 634th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Menlo School hit Archbishop Riordan with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chuck Wynn, Carter Techel, and Gabriel Sandoval.

Meanwhile, Redondo Union hasn't lost a match since December 18, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game last Monday. They and Santa Monica finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Redondo Union's draw makes their record 6-2-2 this season. As for Menlo School, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.
