Football Game Preview: WACO Warriors vs. Iowa Valley Tigers

The WACO Warriors are taking a road trip to face off against the Iowa Valley Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: WACO has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Iowa Valley will arrive with six straight wins.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Iowa Valley against English Valleys on Friday as the squad secured a 71-26 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 45 points or more this season.

Iowa Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for WACO, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

WACO might still be hurting after the 56-33 defeat they got from Iowa Valley in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Tigers' Nolan Kriegel, who rushed for 232 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.
