Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bangor Christian Patriots, falling 15-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Red Devils have suffered against the Patriots since May 2, 2018.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bangor Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Central will head out to square off against Dexter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bangor Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Stearns at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Patriots will need to watch out since the Minutemen have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
