Volleyball Game Preview: Ignacio Bobcats vs. Dove Creek Bulldogs + How To Watch

Ignacio hasn't had much luck against Dove Creek recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bobcats will square off against the Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. Ignacio is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Ignacio and Ouray had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats blew past the Trojans 3-0 on Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ignacio took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Dove Creek lost 3-0 to Nucla on Tuesday.

While Dove Creek ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-20.

Dove Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ignacio, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Ignacio took their win against Dove Creek when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
