Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Fremd couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 2-0 to the Marist RedHawks on Friday. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Fremd's loss dropped their record down to 31-8. As for Marist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-5 record this season.
