Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Snags 14th Win in Last 17 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hagerty walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lake Brantley Patriots 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted since September 9th.

Leading Hagerty to victory were Isabella Cruz and Isabelle Peloso. Cruz had 34 assists and nine digs, while Peloso had 14 digs, 12 kills, two aces, and one block. Peloso has been hot, having posted six or more kills the last seven times she's played.

Hagerty has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Lake Brantley, their defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-9.

Looking ahead, Hagerty will head out on the road to face off against Winter Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lake Brantley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
