The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Knox Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tippecanoe Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Tippecanoe Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Jimtown and fell 2-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tippecanoe Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mackaylie Costello, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Knox lost 13-3 to Westville on Monday.

Addison Sponaugle was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Phelan Wright also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 6-6. As for Knox, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Tippecanoe Valley hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Knox struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Tippecanoe Valley couldn't quite finish off Knox in their previous matchup back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
