Basketball Recap: Rochester Sets Scoring Season-High Against Kouts

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rochester). They put the hurt on the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies with a sharp 49-29 win on Friday. Given the Zebras' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Mustangs & Fillies are ranked 219th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rochester pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Kouts, they moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Rochester will head out to face off against Plymouth at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kouts, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Wheeler at 7:00 p.m.
