Basketball Recap: Holmes County Central Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Holmes County Central Jaguars were beaten by the St. Martin Yellow Jackets 64-33. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 15th).

Holmes County Central now has a losing record at 10-11. As for St. Martin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.
