Basketball Recap: Adams Central Gets the Win

Adams Central won the last time they faced St. Paul and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Adams Central Patriots came out on top against the St. Paul Wildcats by a score of 31-22.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alli Dugan, who posted two points along with five assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Wegner, who put up five points and four steals.

Adams Central's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for St. Paul, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Adams Central will welcome Fillmore Central on Friday. Adams Central is facing Fillmore Central at the right time seeing as Fillmore Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Paul, they will host Arcadia/Loup City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arcadia/Loup City will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something St. Paul surely won't give up without a fight.
