Soccer Game Preview: Milton vs. Arnold

The Milton Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Arnold Marlins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Milton is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Pensacola a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Arnold got the win against Rutherford on Monday by a conclusive 8-0. Kendall Sears was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Arnold has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those eight contests. As for Milton, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-3.

Milton beat Arnold 2-0 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
