Bracken County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the St. Henry Crusaders 35-7. That's two games straight that the Polar Bears have won by exactly 28 points.

Bracken County's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for St. Henry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bracken County will face off against rival Beechwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Polar Bears 14.1, the Tigers 8.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, St. Henry is set to challenge their familiar foe Walton-Verona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
