Recap: Switzerland County Pacers vs. South Dearborn Knights
Even though the South Dearborn Knights scored an imposing 72 points on Thursday, the Switzerland County Pacers still came out on top. Switzerland County came out on top in a nail-biter against South Dearborn and snuck past 74-72. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Switzerland County.
It was another big night for Cam Craig, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 16 rebounds. The matchup was his 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kadyn Riley, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Despite the loss, South Dearborn still got an impressive performance from Brodie Teke, who went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 6 assists. Those 24 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Scout Gray, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, South Dearborn were working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Switzerland County only posted 11 assists.
Switzerland County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for South Dearborn, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Switzerland County will head out on the road to face off against Lawrenceburg at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Lawrenceburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Thursday. As for South Dearborn, they will square off against Rising Sun at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Rising Sun focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
