Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Knights vs. National Trail Blazers

The Legacy Christian Academy Knights stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They really took it to National Trail for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-14 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Legacy Christian Academy who now have four in a row.

Legacy Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Ava Combs, who scored 17 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Solomon, who scored six points along with five assists and three steals.

Legacy Christian Academy's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.7 points. As for National Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Christian Academy has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Waynesville will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for National Trail, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the at 6:00 p.m.
