The Temecula Prep Patriots will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Peachtree Ridge Lions at 12:40 p.m. on Friday. Peachtree Ridge took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Temecula Prep, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Temecula Prep against San Jacinto Leadership Academy as the squad secured a 75-45 victory. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Peachtree Ridge's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Marcos. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 136th in Georgia, while the Knights are ranked 24th in California).

Peachtree Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Temecula Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
