Basketball Recap: John Hardin Comes Up Short

John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Apollo Eagles, falling 85-50. The Bulldogs lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 62-50 score last time.

John Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Apollo, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

John Hardin has already played their next contest (against Allen County-Scottsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Apollo will square off against Daviess County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Daviess County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Apollo likes a good challenge.
