Glass typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Salem proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 10-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 back in March.

Salem is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Glass, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Salem will square off against Hidden Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glass, they will challenge Jefferson Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Hilltoppers surely won't give up without a fight.
