North Mesquite has gone a perfect 5-0 against Adams recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The North Mesquite Stallions will head out on the road to take on the Adams Cougars at 7:25 p.m.

North Mesquite came up short against Poteet on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Stallions were already down 3-0.

Meanwhile, Adams had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Dragons an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Adams' victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for North Mesquite, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.

North Mesquite was able to grind out a solid win over Adams in their previous matchup on February 4th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Mesquite since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
