Baseball Recap: Sussex Academy Comes Up Short

Sussex Academy lost against Milford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seahawks fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 5-4. The game marked the Seahawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sussex Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Milford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Sussex Academy will be playing at home against Woodbridge at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milford, they will square off against Caesar Rodney at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Riders will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Buccaneers surely won't give up without a fight.
