Soccer Recap: Gateway Charter Takes a Loss

Gateway Charter lost against East Lee County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Gateway Charter Griffins took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Lee County Jaguars. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jonathan Ledesma, who's now up to five this season.

Gateway Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for East Lee County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6-1.

Gateway Charter didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-3 victory against Evangelical Christian on the 17th. East Lee County has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Gateway on the 16th.
