Volleyball Recap: Florence Finds Playoff Glory Versus Niagara

Florence had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Niagara Badgers on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Bobcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Florence can attribute much of their success to Ashley Peterson, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Peterson a new career-high.

Florence's win bumped their record up to 30-14. As for Niagara, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season.

Florence will venture away from home to square off against Suring at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Niagara does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
