Basketball Recap: Artesia Comes Up Short

Artesia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lovington Wildcats, falling 62-41. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 41-37.

Artesia's record is now 9-14. As for Lovington, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.

Coming up, Artesia will head out to challenge Portales at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Portales will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Artesia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lovington, they will face off against Goddard at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
