Northwest Area put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Crestwood Comets with a sharp 17-4 win. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Jenna Robaczewski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 4-for-6 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Natalia Ninotti, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Abygail Miller was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Northwest Area was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .450. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestwood only posted a batting average of .300.

Northwest Area's record is now 9-0. As for Crestwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Northwest Area wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Montgomery on the 21st. As for Crestwood, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-0 defeat against Tunkhannock on the 21st.
