Northwest Area put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Crestwood Comets with a sharp 17-4 win. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.
Jenna Robaczewski was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 4-for-6 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
