Softball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin fell victim to Catholic - N.I. and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 20-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Catholic - N.I., they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Franklin and Catholic - N.I. will both be playing Patterson the next time they take the field. The Hornets will head out to face the Lumberjacks at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
