Basketball Game Preview: Westinghouse Warriors vs. Lindblom Eagles

The Westinghouse Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Lindblom Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westinghouse is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Westinghouse is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since December 26, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Clark by a score of 45-42. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Eagles are ranked 180th).

Meanwhile, Lindblom came up short against Glenbard East on Saturday, falling 71-50. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lindblom's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Westinghouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.

Westinghouse came up short against Lindblom in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, falling 59-48. Can Westinghouse avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
