Softball Recap: Foran Lions vs. New Canaan Rams
Foran gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the New Canaan Rams a 1-0 shutout.
Foran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teagan Mulvihill, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
Foran will head out on the road to challenge Law at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Foran is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for New Canaan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brookfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
