Football Recap: Parsippany Redhawks vs. Boonton Bombers        
        
		
             Parsippany couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were  outmatched by the Boonton Bombers at home  and fell  41-0. The Redhawks' loss continues a  trend for the  squad, making it seven in a row dating back to last season.
  Kevin Regan threw for 106 yards  on eight of 17 attempts.  
 Matthew Parker was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards.  On the ground, 
 Omar Amin rushed for 32 yards.
  Sylas White had an outrageously good game for Boonton as he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.  Metin Ahmedi was in the mix  as well, providing Boonton with two touchdowns.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Boonton and  bumps their season record up to 2-0.
 Parsippany will take on Pequannock at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Parsippany focused on turnovers this week  as team gave up five on Friday. As for Boonton, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Whippany Park.
