Soccer Recap: Landrum Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Landrum was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the Gaffney Indians, falling 6-0. Considering the last time Landrum couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Landrum now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Gaffney, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-16-1.

Looking ahead, Landrum will host Spartanburg Day at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Landrum: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Spartanburg Day have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Gaffney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
