Soccer Game Preview: Westmoreland vs. Richmond High School for the Arts

The Westmoreland Eagles will take on the Richmond High School for the Arts Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richmond High School for the Arts took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Westmoreland, who comes in off a win.

Westmoreland headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Northumberland let them put that streak behind them. The Eagles won by a goal and slipped past the Indians 5-4. Considering Westmoreland's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Richmond High School for the Arts came up short against Powhatan on Thursday, falling 7-1. Richmond High School for the Arts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Westmoreland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1.
