Softball Recap: Warren Dragons vs. McDowell Trojans
Warren had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the McDowell Trojans and snuck past 4-2. For Warren, this counts as revenge for the 14-0 loss McDowell walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April.
For McDowell's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Miller, who went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Warren's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for McDowell, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.
Warren will head out on the road to face off against Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. McDowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
