Two dominant signal callers in Lott Robison and Holt Goodwin are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Crosby Cougars will head out to challenge the A&M Consolidated Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Crosby is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They lost 31-7 to Angleton. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cougars' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.
Meanwhile, A&M Consolidated entered their tilt with Lockhart on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They really took it to the Lions for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-22 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 42-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.
Crosby better keep an eye on Jayden Mullenberg. He was instrumental in A&M Consolidated's win, rushing for 83 yards and four scores on only nine carries. Those 83 rushing yards gave Mullenberg a new career-high.
