Softball Recap: Wahama's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Wahama came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-1 to the Pike County Central Hawks. The game marked the White Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Wahama got a good showing from Nixey Davis, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Davis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wahama fell to 9-1. As for Pike County Central, they moved to 7-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Wahama will face off against Martin County at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike County Central, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Pike County Central Hawks face off against Johnson Central Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
