Madison is a perfect 7-0 against Rosman since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patriots will challenge the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Madison and four for Rosman.

Things were looking good for Madison after they put the first run on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Draughn by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Patriots have suffered since February 25th.

Chance Penland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Max Shelton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Rosman duked it out with Mountain Heritage last Tuesday. The Tigers lost 37-1 to the Cougars.

Rosman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Micah Carr was another, earning one run and two stolen bases.

Rosman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Madison took their victory against Rosman when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
