Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost to Airport on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears fell just short of the Jets by a score of 4-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jack Halberstadt made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Airport, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Roosevelt will host Allen Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Airport, they will venture away from home to challenge Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
