Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for William Floyd

William Floyd won the last time they faced Central Islip, and Chloe Campbell did her part to make sure it happened again. The William Floyd Colonials took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-21 win over the Central Islip Musketeers thanks in part to Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Taleah Coppola, who posted 11 points and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for William Floyd and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Coincidentally, William Floyd and Central Islip will both be playing Walt Whitman the next time they take the court. Central Islip will host Walt Whitman at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while William Floyd will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
