Colonial Heights is 9-1 against Hopewell since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hopewell hadn't done well against Dinwiddie recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Blue Devils' defense stepped up to hand the Generals a 4-0 shutout. The result kept Hopewell happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 17th.

Hopewell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Colonial Heights, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.
