Tanque Verde's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Empire Ravens onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. Considering the Hawks have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Empire from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Bella Gooch led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Tanque Verde is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those six games. As for Empire, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.

Tanque Verde wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Catalina on the 9th. Empire has also already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Sabino on the 9th.
