Cashmere hadn't done well against Royal recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Knights. The victory was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after six games remain undefeated this season.

Mac Carlson and Jack Niederstadt were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Carlson tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Niederstadt struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. At bat, Carlson went 1-for-3 with three RBI, while Niederstadt scored four runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave Niederstadt a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rylan Hatmaker, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Thomas Bergren also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Cashmere kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Cashmere pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Royal, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Knights beat Cashmere by a score of 5-4 later that day.
