Softball Recap: Blair Bears vs. Ralston Rams
Blair's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Ralston Rams a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Bears have won 17 games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooke Janning made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. What's more, she also racked up three hits, the mostshe's had since back in September.
