Softball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McGregor Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 last Tuesday.

Mabri Warren was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

West's loss dropped their record down to 9-14-1. As for McGregor, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West will welcome Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGregor, they will host Clifton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
