Longmont suffered their biggest defeat since February 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 69-49 to the Broomfield Eagles. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rhys Odom, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Lombrano, who earned seven points.

Joey Cook continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Broomfield, going 11 of 16 on his way to 25 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Dunn, who put up six points along with eight rebounds and four blocks.

Longmont's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4. As for Broomfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Longmont will host Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Longmont is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season. Broomfield has already played their next contest (against Erie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
