After a string of seven wins, Serrano's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They came up short against the Corona Panthers, falling 13-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Diamondbacks have suffered since February 18th.

Autumn Pratt was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Kaia Felix was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Serrano's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Corona, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, Serrano will be playing in front of their home fans against Citrus Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Serrano's pitchers better be ready for this one: Citrus Valley has averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Corona, they will face off against Arroyo Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
