Basketball Recap: Trinity Episcopal Comes Up Short

Trinity Episcopal lost against St. Anne's-Belfield back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trinity Episcopal Titans fell 67-55 to the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Saints are ranked second).

St. Anne's-Belfield found their leader in sophomore Harmony Williams, who dropped a double-double on 36 points and 13 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Keegan Morris, who went 6 for 13 en route to 17 points and four steals.

Trinity Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Trinity Episcopal will square off against St. Margaret's at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Margaret's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they will welcome Steward at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
