Soccer Game Preview: Atascadero vs. Lompoc

The Atascadero Greyhounds will head out to face off against the Lompoc Braves at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Atascadero is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Atascadero is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Santa Ynez on Friday. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Greyhounds couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, neither Lompoc nor Cabrillo could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Lompoc's record moves to 3-6-3. As for Atascadero, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-2.
