Basketball Recap: Gainesville Takes a Loss

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Van Alstyne Panthers, falling 50-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-24 back in December of 2024.

Gainesville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Van Alstyne, their win bumped their record up to 11-16.

Gainesville will welcome Aubrey at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Van Alstyne, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sanger at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
