Mt. Edgecumbe has gone 8-2 against Sitka recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mt. Edgecumbe Braves will face off against the Sitka Wolves at 6:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Mt. Edgecumbe came up short against Ketchikan and fell 44-34. The contest marked the Braves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sitka had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hawks 62-20. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Sitka's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Mt. Edgecumbe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Mt. Edgecumbe was able to grind out a solid win over Sitka when the teams last played back in February, winning 44-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mt. Edgecumbe since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
